Water pours from a unique ceiling facet rapidly filling a soaking tub with frothing bubbles from the French Girl Rose Sea Soak. Your dedicated spa butler pours you a costly glass of chilled champagne and sets a bath tray with caviar paired with accoutrements, fresh flowers from Pikes Place Market and luxury bath products. Before departing he lights a Hotel 1000 Signature Candle and drapes a plush robe for after your bath. Experience a bath like no other and one the Hotel 1000 is famed for. No worries if you don’t have a $1000 bath budget, Hotel 1000 offers less expensive options. Each bath includes a variety of luxury bath products and themed items. Priced from $100 – $250.

  • Emerald City – Named for the lush green Pacific Northwest with local amenities
  • Romance and Rejuvenation –  Soak while enjoying wine, chocolates, and luxury bath products.
  • Destress Mind Bath – Relax after a day of traveling or activities. This is the one I tried and loved it.

SheBuysTravel Tip: The water pouring from the ceiling fills the tub very rapidly so don’t leave the bathroom as it is that quick!

In a big city such as Seattle, the Hotel 1000 provides a peaceful oasis from the traffic and crowds. It feels surprisingly homey, greeting guests with the scent of fresh flowers the moment they walk in. The friendly staff makes everyone feel welcome. The Hotel 1000 stands out from other hotels in Seattle by blending a luxury aesthetic with local experiences. Although part of a chain, the hotel’s recent multi-million dollar renovation included design features that takes into account the urban sophistication of Seattle while highlighting the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. An example is the lobby light installation with over 250 hand-blown LED glass droplets that evoke Seattle’s rainfall. Just gorgeous.

I often stay at hotels with Porkchop, the Traveling Corgi. The moment we arrived at the hotel he felt welcomed. From the doorman greeting him with doggy treats to the unbelievably luxurious dog bed, the Hotel 1000 Seattle exhibited pet friendliness. A nice touch is the Pet-Friendly Guide to Seattle which lists a variety of pet friendly locations throughout Seattle. With advance notice the concierge can arrange for pet sitting.

All Water Seafood and Oyster Bar celebrates in food and decor the rich maritime history of Seattle. Once the site of a tackle and bait shop, the site now evokes a fishing boat with portraits of fishermen and a rustic design. The delectable dishes highlight the bounty of the Puget Sound and nearby farms. The seasonal menu utilizes ingredients in season and found locally. Peruse the website to see the local purveyors including fresh seafood like the famed Penn Cove Mussels freshly harvested each day.
