This style of bar dining was first popularized by ramen concepts, and now you can enjoy a sizzling Hamburg steak served right on your plate—complete with a variety of sauces and unique dining rituals.

If it’s your first time, go for the three-Hamburg steak set (899) to experience all three flavor variations at once.
Seasonal Menu H
1 Original Hamburg Steak
1 Cheese Hamburg Steak
1 Mushroom Gravy Hamburg Steak

The wagyu Hamburg steaks are ground on-site for maximum freshness, and the rice is milled in-house daily to deliver the best possible Japanese rice experience.

The original Hamburg steak is served grilled, similar to a burger patty, and cooked medium-rare by default. You can let it sizzle longer on the hot plate if you prefer it medium or well-done. It comes with unlimited broccoli, which tastes great slightly grilled—add some Aurora sauce for an extra layer of flavor.

Don’t be intimidated by the setup—embrace the interactive experience and enjoy customizing your meal just the way you like it.
Let’s start with the basics: every set comes with a bowl of rice, and yes, it’s refillable.

I loved the dashi soup with its plump fish ball—and with unlimited refills, I ended up having about four servings during the meal.

It’s also served with your choice of a raw or soft-boiled egg to pair perfectly with the Hamburg steak. I’ll go for the soft-boiled egg as dipping sauce or to mix with your rice.

Tips for Enjoying the Sauces:
- Once you get your Hamburg steak, start simple—use just salt and pepper to really savor the flavor of the beef before diving into the sauces.
- The pickled radish with bonito flakes pairs beautifully with the rice.
- If you love spice, try going all out: mix and match the Chinese garlic chili, Korean spicy sauce, and Japanese wasabi salt (Joji-style) with your steak.
- The Aurora sauce is a perfect match for the grilled broccoli.
- For a classic burger-style taste, try the BBQ sauce with a touch of mustard.

Here’s how I like my Hamburg steak:
Cooked to medium—just sizzling on the plate for about a minute (it reaches well-done after around three). I pair it with chili garlic, pickled radish with bonito flakes, and a soft-boiled egg.

The second Hamburg steak is topped with a generous layer of cheese…

…and plenty of grated cheese, making it a delight to watch as it melts while the burger grills.

The third Hamburg steak comes with a rich, delicious mushroom gravy, sizzling hot on the grill.
Unfortunately, there’s no dessert offered. It would have been the perfect way to cleanse the palate with some ice cream.
FINAL THOUGHTS

Masarap! It is a fun foodie date with your special someone and quite satisfying. Recommended!
Just a heads-up: it’s not wheelchair accessible and may not be ideal for young children, so it’s best enjoyed with friends or older kids.

Congrats Eric and Imelda Teng for bringing the Hamburg Steak experience in Manila!
