Caffe Allor Ristorante is an Italian-inspired café with an outdoor piazza, born from the honeymoon memories of first-time restaurateurs Mark and Nicole Wang in Siena, Italy. Its name, a heartfelt tribute to their parents—Albino and Lorita (Al + Lor = Allor)—reflects a fusion of Italian tradition and modern Filipino flavors.

The 100-seat venue offers three distinct lighting moods: a bright daylight setting for breakfast that captures the feel of dining outdoors while staying cool in an air-conditioned space, a warm and inviting ambiance for lunch, and a romantic date-night mode featuring soft dimmed lighting and a moonlit glow.
The menu offers a blend of 70% Filipino and 30% Italian dishes.
Here’s what we loved—and a few areas for improvement:
FILIPINO

SHRIMP COCKTAIL 495
Sautéed shrimp served with signature warm cheese sauce
The shrimp are nicely charred and served with a warm cheese sauce for dipping. Each serving is limited to six pieces just enough to whet your appetite.

MANGO SINIGANG 620
Refreshing sweet, tangy and savory broth featuring crispy lechon kawali with ripe mangoes.
As a sinigang lover, I was skeptical at first—but it worked. The flavor profile is reminiscent of watermelon sinigang, with the mango bringing a tropical sweetness that beautifully balances the sourness. It’s served with large, fried chunks of liempo, though I was hoping for more tender cuts of meat.
This was the most talked-about dish of the night and a must order signature offering.

BAKED SALMON 995
Tender salmon fillet with a creamy, herbed three-cheese topping
I loved the creamy cheese topping generously smothered over the salmon. Many raved that it’s even better than Conti’s—but I personally prefer my salmon cooked medium. This one was well-done, which made the meat a bit dry.

SISIG FIORE 390
Pork sisig with quail egg served in a crispy bowl
The crispy crepe bowl was enjoyable, but the sisig was hardly recognizable—it came as a creamy pork sauce. It would be even better with a more traditional sisig recipe.

GOLDEN EGG WAFFLE 360
Fried quail eggs coated in edible gold
The Golden Kwek-Kwek, served in a quail nest, stands out for its playful presentation—but a bit expensive for what it is.

SISIG PANCIT 520
Filipino stir-fried noodles, infused with the twist taste of crispy pork sisig
This pancit was a bit messy to eat, and the sisig flavor was lost in the oiliness.

HONEY GARLIC LECHON KAWALI 485
Deep fried lechon kawali glazed in honey garlic
The pork was tough and the honey glaze overly sweet – we did not like the flavor.
ITALIAN

The Neapolitana pizza was spot on—I’d gladly come back just for the pizza, especially paired with the piazza ambiance.

CREAM CHEESE KANGKONG PIZZA 720
A vibrant pizza featuring sautéed kang kong, layered over a creamy cream cheese base.
I loved the creamy kang kong topping, with a soft center and charred, crispy crust edges.

Yes, you can add truffles for an extra touch of luxury and flavor.

SARDINA PASTA 685
Fettucine pasta tossed with sardines and a hint of chili for a flavorful kick.
I loved the sardines, the pasta was al dente and the flavor was spot on.

Shakerato is like a non-alcoholic espresso martini, minus the shots—though it was a bit sweet.

PUTO BUMBONG CREPE 450
Ube crepe, cheese cream, vanilla ice cream, ube sauce, muscovado sugar, dessicated coconut
I love this Puto Bumbong ala mode version—it’s creamier, and the ube crepe is delightful to eat.

PISTACCHIO CIOCCOLATO 495
Chocolate crepe, pistachios, chocolate ice cream, pistachio sauce
It was a bit too chocolatey, but the pistachio added a nice touch to balance the flavor.
FINAL THOUGHTS

Overall, I love the unique indoor piazza and family-friendly vibe—it truly has its own distinct personality. The menu, while diverse, tries to cater to every Filipino and Italian craving you can imagine. It might be better to focus on a few flagship dishes. I’d definitely return for the pizza, pasta, mango sinigang, baked salmon, and crepes. While the menu leans more Filipino, the pizza style and ambiance are Italian-inspired.
Congratulations to Mark and Nicole on your first restaurant baby!
