It was my first time meeting the people behind this iconic brand, and they truly embody a family-friendly culture. The big boss was promoted from within, and the young, dynamic GM and marketing team are taking Shakey’s to a whole new level for the next 50 years.
Although Shakey’s originated in the U.S., Filipinos have wholeheartedly embraced it as their own, making it a beloved part of our culture shaped by American influences.
As a kid, having your celebration at Shakey’s meant you were “sosyal,” and it became a beloved go-to venue for special occasions.
